German court issued a decision which prevented the Korean company Samsung from the sale of the famous Tablet PC Galaxy Tab 10.1 in the European Union.
Apple the main rival of Samsung got a preliminary injunction order against the latest Tablet PC Galaxy Tab 10.1, which is running the open source Android from Google because Apple claims that the device violates 10 patents, including the shape and appearance of the device.
Samsung was prevented from the distribution of Samsung device in the European Union with the exception of the Netherlands only.
This means that Samsung should drag the device from the market in addition to stop marketing the device in any way.
Apple asked the District Court of Düsseldorf the amount of $ 350,000 for each violation.
